Steven K.L. Olson- Bio
Originally an editorial cartoonist from Puyallup Washington, Steven spent 4 years as an entertainment costuming manager for Walt Disney productions before receiving his bachelor’s degree in Media Arts/Animation from Emily Carr University in Vancouver BC. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2004, Steven’s creations in animation and digital media have been commissioned by Sesame Workshop, Disney, Universal Studios and Comedy Central and his independent animated shorts have won awards at film festivals across the globe. From 2005 to 2010 Steven partnered with Josh Faure-Brac to produce the animated political and pop-culture satire series SuperNews!, which was a regular series on CURRENT TV. In 2010 Steve was hired by Warner Bros. Animation to help bring MAD MAGAZINE to life in a Cartoon Network animated series based on the magazine. After 4 seasons as lead animator and story artist on "MAD", Steve is back to working on animation for adults as the supervising director for FUSION TV's "Like, Share, Die" and a storyboard artist for FOX's "Family Guy" and the upcoming "Bordertown" scheduled to premiere in early 2016.
